What is a roll-off dumpster?

A roll-off is delivered on a tilt-bed truck and set down as an open container.

Blue Sky offers four sizes. The rental includes 14 days. Extra days are $25.

Roll-off dumpsters are available across Michigan, where we offer roll-off rental.

Roll-off is also the only option for heavy debris.

Dirt, soil, concrete, brick, block, masonry, and rock go in the 10-yard open-top.

The 40-yard is the maximum volume size.

It has the same 5-ton capacity as the 30-yard.

For a normal roof, use a 10, 20, or 30 yard. Heavy dirt and concrete go in the 10-yard.

Included weight is on the address quote.

What is a rubber-wheeled dumpster?

A rubber-wheeled dumpster sits on wheels for driveway placement where that service is available.

Sizes are 10, 20, and 30 yard. The included period is 7 days. Extra days are $25.

Compare them by yard size and the 7-day rental, then open the size page for that container.

Outside the counties below, choose a roll-off.

Inside those counties, the address quote still has to show the service for that driveway.

Read the included weight on the rubber-wheeled quote.

A 7-day rubber-wheeled rental and a 14-day roll-off of a similar yard size can show different tons.

Which placement differences matter?

A roll-off sits on the ground, so it can affect a driveway or lawn.

If you need it in the street, confirm the current local requirement before delivery.

Your city issues a street permit. Check with them before delivery.

A rubber-wheeled dumpster is the driveway option where the service exists.

A front-load dumpster is a third product: 2, 4, 6, or 8 yard, scheduled, in Macomb, Wayne, and Oakland Counties.

Leave these out

  • Hazardous waste
  • Tires
  • Batteries
  • Paint and chemicals
  • Asbestos
  • Flammable materials
  • Propane tanks
  • Medical waste
  • Electronics where restricted

How do you choose for a project?

  1. 1Choose a roll-offUse it for heavy debris, a county outside the rubber-wheeled list, a 40-yard cleanout, or a shingle tear-off. Normal roofing uses a 10, 20, or 30 yard roll-off.
  2. 2Choose a rubber-wheeled dumpsterUse it when the county is eligible and the container will sit on a driveway. Put dirt, concrete, brick, and rock in a 10-yard roll-off.
  3. 3Read the quoteThe address quote shows the price and the included weight.
